Everybody loves a good dance and when you combine it with exercise you are in for a fun time! As part of the lifestyle program for October Hardi Manly Vale introduced Zumba. This low-impact workout work went for 45 minutes and had all the residents dancing and staying healthy all at once. The session was led by Maria, she’s an accredited instructor from Senior Champions, she mixed and matched residents favourite peppy songs to create a perfectly Zumba style routine. This fun session introduced easy to follow choreography using colourful ribbons, maracas and clapping techniques that focus on balance, range of motion, flexibility, coordination and other elements of fitness. Manly Vale residents thoroughly enjoyed this energetic and fun workout and look forward to adding this to the monthly calendar as a must-do.
