Here at Hardi Aged Care, we love celebrating all multicultural days and learning new and fascinating facts about all cultures. On 19th July residents from Hardi Summer Hill celebrated and recognised Bastille Day with all things French. Staff were dressed in their finest French gear and residents donned Eiffel tower headbands, they all took part in French quizzes and trivia while also learning to speak a little French. They enjoyed a delicious high tea with some mouth-watering French foods like Danishes, French onion soup, profiteroles and croissants and they washed this down with some French Champagne. To make the day even better residents were treated to French entertainer ‘Annette’. Overall the residents had the best time and can’t wait for the next multicultural day to learn and experience other cultures.
