As the temperature sores into the 40’s in Western Sydney residents at Hardi Aged Care Seven Hills wanted a day out but also wanted to beat the heat so the lifestyle team got to thinking and what better way to stay cool than a trip the movies that is known to be one of the cooler places.
Residents packed onto the Hardi Bus and headed to Auburn Reading Cinemas, armed with popcorn, the famous choc top ice-cream (who can say no) and tickets the see Jumanji, they quickly found their seats, with all residents very impresses as to how the cinema experience has changed over the years, they laid back in the reclining chairs and settled in for 2 hours of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the ladies definitely weren’t disappointed. This day out wasn’t just fun and refreshing for the residents, but it also brought back many memories of heading out to the pictures with family when they were younger or taken their grandkids to the movies during the school holidays. The day didn’t end there after the movie everyone was a little bit hungry so the headed KFC to top of what was already a great day.
