Our facility noticeboards are filled with thank you cards and letters from the families of our residents. This is a snapshot of some of that kind testimonial feedback about Hardi Aged Care.
Summer Hill (Wyoming)
“Our beautiful mum Josipa was a resident at Wyoming from January 2016 until her passing in April 2017. Wyoming was her choice because she knew some of the staff from when our Dad was there several years before.
I’m writing this because while the staff were kind and caring with Mum, there are those who deserve special mentions for being exceptionally so.
Mum adored the lifestyle staff for the one on ones and chats and especially that Mum was a homebody but they coaxed her to go on one bus trip and that made Mum realize what she’d been missing, so she was happy to go out again. And also for giving her Peyo to cuddle and being sure she always got the treats – ice cream and coffees, which she loved.
A big thank you to the Care Manager for ensuring Mum was always given the medical attention she needed and being proactive at times. He always followed up with every medical change that was made diligently to ensure Mum had the best care.
Also, a thank you to the administration team for always ensuring that phone calls to the nursing staff were put through and in chasing them up if they were in meetings, etc., when it was urgent.
Again, a big thank you to all.”

“Last year I was asked by our doctor to find a nursing home for my husband. I looked at many before coming here. John is an outdoor kind of fellow having been a builder and a fisherman. He always sat outside at home enjoying the sun light, so it was so lovely to see the outside area. He can watch the passing traffic and the children coming and going to school each day. He is content in his surroundings.
The staff here try so hard to be helpful and are most kind to all the people in their care. They understand each person’s needs and are always gracious to all, even to the relatives who visit.
The rooms are kept clean and tidy, and the meals are wholesome. It is nice to share an afternoon tea with my husband each day. As he cannot speak, it’s nice to share this time together.
Each day I thank God for the care he receives here as I am unable to provide what he needs.
Bless all who work here sincerely.”

“I would like to thank all of staff looking after my mother Carol. Your team in this area go the next level in caring and I would recommend this nursing home to anyone who asked me. I would like to say a big thank you for all of the help and kind nature all your team has given my mother.”

“I moved my parents from another facility to Hardi Aged Care at Seven Hills one year ago. It is the best thing that I have done for my parents.
In my opinion I say that they moved from a backyard soccer coach to the institute of sport! They want for nothing. They are both in the extra services unit. They each have their own spacious rooms with bathrooms attached. There is a lovely dining hall on the same level, below is another dining hall/lounge room and outside is a lovely garden. Mum and Dad want for nothing.
The staff at Hardis are all nice and treat my parents with the respect and love they deserve. All the staff from cleaning, kitchen, maintenance, reception, nursing, laundry, lifestyle staff and management all treat each resident with the same level of love and respect and I believe this is what sets this nursing home apart from all the rest. I am really thankful that Hardis was recommended to me as I do believe that if I had not moved both my parents they would not be here today.”

“Myself and my family would like thank Mountain View Nursing Home (West Wing) for the professional care and attention your staff gave to Pat my sister over the past three years three months of her life. This has been a very difficult time for our family, but it could have been much worse without the dedication and nursing expertise of all staff especially Karen, Bruna, Shally, Ranita and Rosita who were on duty when we visited.
Our family and I are truly grateful for the level of care they were able to administer to Pat. But, we’re also grateful for the time they took to talk with us to help us better understand Pat’s problems.
Once again we thank Mountain View Nursing home and would recommend this home to any family requiring aged care.”

“My mother passed away recently after nearly nine years at Mountainview as a high care resident. I just wanted to say that the staff were wonderful and treated her with respect and dignity. Over the years, as to be expected, we occasionally had issues that needed sorting and they would get straight onto it. I cannot recommend Mountainview highly enough. My mum had no choice but to go into high care following a stroke so initially was distressed at being there, but the love, friendship and laughter provided on a daily basis by staff, residents and relatives meant that she was happy in the last few years of her life.
Thank you Mountainview.”
Sharon Morris (August, 2017)
“To all of you at Mountainview thank you, thank you, thank you!! We will always value the friendship and love you gave out mum Mayola. You brought smiles and laughter to her everyday and we will always appreciate the love you showed her (and us) in her last years.
Be very proud of what you do for these people!!
I am very proud to know you.”

“My dear friends ,what can I say but thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Everybody at your lovely aged care home has been playing well above their weight when it comes to the care that Peter was provided with , I can name a few individuals such as John , Amy , and Greer but everybody knows the list is much larger than that , especially me! Not much else to say except for a very very big heartfelt thankyou to all your staff at Mountainview . The best aged care facility in the world.”

“Could you please extend the deepest gratitude from myself and my family to each and every member of the Guilford Aged Care team – from nursing staff to general workers – for all the kindness and support during my mother Alma Azar’s time with you?
The love, compassion and patience towards Mum and all her children at this time gave us great comfort and made us feel that we were not alone.
A special thanks to your Assistant Facility Manager for all of your advice, wisdom and especially for making her stay so pleasant and comfortable. Our mother’s passing was one of love and peace and we have the utmost respect for you and your team for allowing our last memories with her to be of dignity and grace.”
